This document applies to Motmot Studios's games, store, sites and related services, which we here collectively call the Service. By using "Cat Mafia" or any other product, service, or game developed by Motmot Studios (referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "the Company"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our products or services.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Motmot Studios reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms of Service, its Privacy Policy and other relevant Motmot Studios policies at any time by posting the amended terms on the Service. You will be deemed to have accepted such changes by continuing to use the Service. If at any point you do not agree to any portion of the then-current version of our Terms of Service, the Motmot Studios Privacy Policy, or any other Motmot Studios policy relating to your use of the Service, your right to use the Service shall immediately terminate, and you must immediately stop using the Service.
2. AGE RESTRICTION
Our games are intended for individuals who are 13 years or older. If you are under this age, please do not use our products.
3. PRIVACY POLICY
Your use of our products and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with Cat Mafia and our other games are the property of Motmot Studios and protected by international copyright laws. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our games without our express consent.
5. UPDATES TO THE SERVICE
You are aware that the Service is constantly changing and evolving. You agree that Motmot Studios has the right to update the Service and its games, with or without prior notice to you. It may also be necessary for you to periodically update third-party software in order to access the Service and play Motmot Studios' games.
6. USE LIMITATIONS
You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:
- Use cheats, hacks, or unauthorized software to modify or interfere with the service or games.
- Overload or disrupt the service's servers or computers.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, computers or networks.
- Post abusive, offensive or inappropriate content.
- Engage in harassment, abuse or harmful behavior toward others.
- Infringe on intellectual property rights or impersonate others.
- Solicit login information or personal details from other users.
- Share private information of others.
- Use the game for gambling or betting activities.
You acknowledge that Motmot Studios has the right to determine violations and take appropriate actions, including account termination.
7. SOCIAL FEATURES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Cat Mafia includes social features that allow you to connect with friends, invite others to play, and interact with other players. When you choose to link your Facebook account or use other third-party services, you authorize us to access certain information from those platforms as described in our Privacy Policy, such as your public profile, friend list, and user ID, solely to provide social features within the Game. Your use of third-party services is also subject to their own terms and policies. You may disconnect linked accounts at any time through the Game settings or through the third-party platform.
8. PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
If our games include in-app purchases, you agree to pay all fees associated with these purchases. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise provided by applicable laws. Additionally, you acknowledge that you will not be compensated in the form of money or other means for any virtual items that remain unused when your account is closed, whether the closure of the account was by your choice or due to other reasons.
9. TERMINATION OF SERVICE
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our products and services at our discretion, without notice, for any violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data as described in our data deletion instructions.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Motmot Studios is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our products or services. We provide our products and services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION
Before initiating arbitration, you must attempt to resolve any dispute informally by directly communicating with Motmot Studios for a minimum of thirty days. The informal dispute resolution procedure commences when you provide written notice of the dispute to Motmot Studios via contact@motmotstudios.co.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of El Salvador, and any disputes not solved informally or by arbitration shall be resolved in the appropriate courts in El Salvador.
